Bart Conner Gymnastics' Alex Marks (15) qualified to the P&G National Championships, which will be held in Hartford, CT next month. Last month, Alex successfully qualified through the zone qualifier at Parkettes Gymnastics, PA. And then last weekend she competed at the prestigious American Classic held in Huntsville, TX, where she earned the necessary qualifying score and the right to compete at the junior division at Nationals in August. In two weeks, July 27th, Alex will be competing at the US Secret Classic held in Chicago, IL, which will be her last official meet before Nationals. Currently, Alex is the only International Elite athlete in Oklahoma, and the first one to qualify to championships since Cortni Beers (Krafft Gymnastics) in 2006.

Partnership with Norman Public Schools for Children with Special Needs
The Academy is proud to provide free classes to Norman Public Schools' special needs classes. We currently serve all of the classes for students with autism and moderate classification in Norman Public Schools. The schools attending include: Lincoln, Monroe, Truman, Roosevelt, Reagan, Madison, Jackson, Wilson and Eisenhower. The students come once a week, with their instructors and aids. The class is for an hour during school. The kids have a blast and it helps develop motor skills and coordination. These classes are provided free of charge by the Academy. The BCGA is interested in providing more of these programs to the community. For more information, contact Ben Fox at the BCGA.
