| Optional Girls' Coach
Oklahoma City native Sally Baker Arnold has been coaching at BCGA since 2001. She was a Level 10 gymnast at Dynamo Gymnastics, and competed in the 1996 Junior Olympic Nationals.
She coached the girls' compulsory teams from 2002-2007, winning eight team state championships during that time. She is now coaching the optionals, as well as supervising the compulsory levels.
"I think coaching is about believing in your gymnasts and building their self-confidence through positive motivation and guidance," she says. "A coach should be a positive role model for their students in all areas of life."
Arnold received a bachelor of science in math education from the University of Oklahoma in May of 2005. In 2006, she taught 6th grade math at Whittier Middle School in Norman.
She has been married to Russell Arnold since March of 2006 and now lives in Newcastle.
