| Compulsory Girls' Coach
Former Level 10 gymnast Jamie Brock coaches the compulsory girls' team, Levels 4-6.
Brock, a native of Norman, first joined BCGA in 1993. Her sister, Westlie, was also an optional gymnast. She was the state all-around champion at Level 6, a Level 9 state champion and Level 9 regional champion. She placed third all-around at the Level 10 state championships. While a gymnast at BCGA, Brock made a trip to Onesti, Romania, for a training camp.
"I like to teach my gymnasts that by working hard they can achieve their goals," Brock says. "I personally learned a lot more from gymnastics than just skills. I learned things that have helped me outside of the sport, such as dedication and discipline. I try to help my gymnasts also learn these qualities and life lessons."
Brock is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma, studying Health and Exercise Science.
