Women's Program Compulsory Coach
Castle joined BCGA’s coaching staff in 2013. She began with coaching Tiny Team & Pre-Team and soon joined the compulsory coaching staff. Castle primarily coaches balance beam for Level 3, 4 & 5 where she has produced numerous state balance beam champions.
Castle grew up as a competitive optional gymnast in South Texas and began coaching in high school to help pay for gymnastics. Her passion for gymnastics continued and after marrying husband, Bryan, she continued coaching and became the compulsory head coach for Level 5 at Oregon Gymnastics Academy in Portland, OR. After several moves, Castle found herself in Gallup, New Mexico where there hadn’t been a gymnastics facility for over ten years. She opened her own gym, Castle Gymnastics, and was the head coach for all levels and all events with great success being able to produce numerous state champions. Castle also served on the New Mexico Gymnastics State Administrative Committee.
In 2013 Castle had the chance to move with her family to Oklahoma and after selling her gym she joined Bart Conner Gymnastics. While coaching Castle optained her level 4 and 5 judging rating, and has had the chance to judge at various gymnastics invitationals.
Castle and her husband, Bryan, have 4 children, Carly, Cassie (current BCGA coach), Courtney (former BCGA gymnast) and Connor (current member of BCGA boy's competitive team).
