Jenna Dunn places fourth on beam at NIT
Our level 10 gymnast, Jenna Dunn (13), placed fourth at the Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament on balance beam held in Jackson, Miss. Jenna, who had qualified to the NIT as a beam specialist thanks to winning the event at this year's regional with a 9.8, scored 9.5, and was just a tenth behind the gold-medal winning routine, which scored 9.6. Jenna hit solidly her acro elements but a big wobble on her dance full turn prevented her from finishing in the top three, or perhaps winning the event. This was Jenna's first year as a level 10 gymnast, and; hence, her first Level 10 nationals.
